We all know that getting pupils is one of the best way to get more EXP. That’s why spamming forums and websites to get pupils is such a common practice for all of us. (Yes, we’re also guilty of that)

However, one of the best ways to improve our game is to experiment and learn what strategies work and what actually do not. And so, the admin of this site, along with a few of our friends, tried to learn how effective it is to do get pupils through spamming.

Well, you actually guessed the results. It’s NOT effective. Here’s the testing we conducted and the results:

Participants: 8 brutes
Places to spam: My Brute Cheats comments and several My Brute forums.
Duration of experiment: 7 days

Pupil Spamming Procedure:
Using the most common statements used in asking for pupils (i.e., make your pupil with this name, etc.), each of the eight brutes left 1 comment in every post here. Furthermore, each of them also left a “pupil me” reply in the top 5 threads in several My Brute forums every day.

Results:
After one week, our experimental 8 brutes got an average of only 3 pupils. The most number of pupils received was 9.

Conclusion:
Pupil spamming is not a very effective way to get pupils. One week worth of effort only resulted to “at most” 9 pupils. Something that you could have done yourself by just changing your IP address in less than one day. Pupil spamming is a waste of time.

Other noteworthy observations:

• Making a pupil on someone who promises to pupil you back is a waste of time because you are NOT guaranteed that he/she will really pupil you back.
• With the great number of pupil spamming that occurs, most people just skip the comment or reply.

One last important announcement:
Beginning today, we shall slowly be deleting all comments that asks for pupils. This will encourage a more creative and informative discussion in this website.

Moreover, any new comments that does so will automatically be deleted, as well as those who puts a link of their brute in their comment.

We encourage everyone to put the address of your brute as your website in the comment form. Then leave a sensible and meaningful comment.

Lastly, since we are becoming more strict with comment moderation, we are asking your forgiveness in advance if your comment will take some time before it appears. Thank you.
